Two
weeks ago Jenna made this mask and headband
I
thought it clever that my little girl (well, maybe not so little) had thought
to put buttons on her headband so that the elastic from the mask would be around
the buttons and not so much pressure on her ears.
After
our walk around the neighborhood yesterday, she discovered that her headband
had fallen out of her pocket. I told her
we could go back and search for it – though we weren’t even certain where it
had been lost. She did not want to
bother with retracing our footsteps yesterday, and so we went out in search for
it today. She spotted it on the
road. It had obviously been run
over. Several times perhaps.
How devastating.
