Did Bonnie Drag Her Bed Into Our Room?

Image
Ever since Biff and his brood moved in, Bonnie has been whinier during the night – especially after Christmas break.   She misses Jaime, obviously.   But more importantly it isn ’ t fair that Char gets to sleep with his people and Bonnie has to stay in a different room by herself.   She doesn ’ t know how loudly she snores.   She could seriously put a fog horn to shame. I have never heard Char snore. I rarely hear him at all.          When I heard Bonnie whining last night I got to let her outside.   Instead she charged into our room and wouldn ’ t leave. Richard doesn ’ t like Bonnie wiping herself on our carpet and so I went and retrieved Char ’ s cushion (which has now become Bonnie ’ s second bed as Char doesn ’ t use it) so that she could lay on that and not in a place where neither Richard nor I would trip over her.        ...

Bonnie in my Bedroom

Bonnie will whine when we are in the other room but will gladly follow me to   my room and lay down and stop whining.     My room has carpet and so does the office.   Often she will hang out there waiting for Roland ’ s return.   Perhaps she enjoys the rough carpet under her belly. I don ’ t think she is particularly fond of the flooring we chose for the main part of the house as she is always slipping.   She does have her own bed which seems to me should be more comfortable than the carpeted floor.   But I am not a dog.   What do I know?   She ’ s quite an insecure dog. She has waited in the office alone but rarely stays in the bedroom by herself.   I don ’ t know why she doesn ’ t hang out in Jenna ’ s room.   Jenna absolutely adores Bonnie. She really is a sweet dog. She currently seems  to be missing Jenna.
